On August 18, 2009 RHDC voted to recommend six properties to City Council for designation as Raleigh Historic Landmarks. Properties include:

On August 4, 2009 City Council and RHDC held a joint public hearing to accept public comment on the designation of these properties. City Council referred the matter to RHDC to consider final recommendations to the City Council. The Council may adopt the historic designations at its September 1st meeting.
